Interview with Tom Ullman from WRIU  in Kingston, Rhode Island:

In the poetry interview with Tom Ullman in October of l984, I spoke about the purpose of poetry and its everyday or quotidian use with music. A way of appreciating beauty. A way of encountering nature, individuals, and various environments. Poets are now seen as participants in the real world and as those who enjoy communicating with others what can be found. Found art reflects an improvisational mind. The poetry recited the show was composed especially for the program. Poetry need not be highly intellectual but can be spontaneous and improvisational.
